Overview

Seamus is the Managing Director of SRI Executive and oversees our Search, Leadership and Strategy practices. Seamus has supported leaders of over 200 global development organisations drawing on 25 years of senior management experience, expertise and his extensive network of high-level executives in the sector. He regularly advises clients on approaches to reach the highest quality of appointments, leadership and strategic direction.

Before joining SRI Executive, Seamus was Managing Director of Guinness where he led a dynamic and diverse team across 46 countries, living for 10 years in East and West Africa and the UK. Prior to that, he spent two years with Akzo Pharma as a Manufacturing Manager in Ireland and the UK.

Seamus has a balanced leadership style that is highly diplomatic while remaining approachable and personable. This is evident in his commitment to developing, building and maintaining long-term collaborative partnerships with international organisations and his enthusiastic approach to fulfilling our clients’ expectations.

Seamus holds a BSc in Chemistry and PhD in Inorganic Chemistry from University College Dublin. He also has a General Management accreditation from INSEAD and a BA in Industrial Relations.

Seamus has been responsible for appointments of Chairs and high-level executives within our network. He has access to leaders in the UN, Multilateral Development Banks (MDBs) and International Organisations as well as globally respected Chief Economists.
