Overview

Dan is SRI Executive’s Director for North America. He has over 15 years of experience in executive search and strategy consulting for clients including international NGOs, governments, multilateral organisations and development consultancies. Dan has expertise in development finance, sustainability, global health and education; and strong insight in talent assessments and strategic leadership.

Prior to joining SRI Executive, Dan worked for Egon Zehnder as a Global Specialist in the Public and Social Sector. Earlier in his career, he was an Associate with global consulting firm Booz Allen Hamilton. He was previously the Executive Director for America’s Impact, a 3,000-member foreign policy leadership organisation. Dan is also the author of “Wonk University,” the first guide book on graduate admissions for international relations and public policy programs. In 2022, Dan joined the Board of Directors for Atlas Corps, a social enterprise that develops leaders and strengthens organizations through training programs and a global alumni community of skilled social change professionals.

Dan holds a MPA from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA), where he was an International Fellow. He also has a BA from Tufts University and a Certificate in International Studies from Johns Hopkins University.

Dan has supported organisations in the global development sector including Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), World Economic Forum, United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Family Planning 2030, World Health Organisation (WHO), the Global Fund, the Rhodes Trust, the World Bank, and the International Monetary Fund.
